Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living is seeking a friendly dining room server to serve meals, greet residents, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area. The role requires clear communication, adherence to sanitation standards, and a team-first attitude in a busy environment.

Responsibilities include taking and delivering orders, assisting residents with meal service, and supporting serving duties and upkeep of dining spaces. Cross-training in other positions may occur as directed by supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or dining services is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents and coworkers.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Greet residents and take orders, delivering meals to kitchen and tables.
• Maintain dining room presentation and complete daily cleaning tasks.
• Assist with opening packages, cutting foods, and serving beverages as needed.
• Set tables for upcoming meals and bus dining areas.
