Job summary

Community Housing Innovations, Inc. (CHI) seeks a full-time Resident Support Specialist at our Riverhead location.

You will ensure a safe, structured environment for residents and staff, coordinate client movement, monitor conduct, and document all interventions during tours of duty. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, structured, and supervised environment for CHI residents and staff.
• Screen clients and visitors entering the facility.
• Conduct rounds and monitor facility for safety and policy adherence.
• Complete logs, incident reports, and required documentation.
• Perform administrative and receptionist duties at the front desk.
