Job summary

Providence House is seeking a Resident Assistant to help maintain safety, structure, and accountability across residential operations, including room turnover, meal monitoring, and building walkthroughs. You will document incidents, support program expectations, and communicate with Case Managers to ensure housing readiness and resident success.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential operations or housing facilities preferred.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and trauma-informed approaches.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document scheduled building walkthroughs each shift.
• Ensure room turnovers are completed within 24 hours and meet readiness standards.
• Monitor safety conditions and address environmental concerns immediately.
• Track and document meal distribution accurately during assigned meal times.
• Submit maintenance requests promptly to preserve facility standards.
• Reinforce residential guidelines and program participation expectations.
• Monitor chore completion and resident compliance with assigned responsibilities.
• Provide trauma-informed redirection and conflict resolution.
• Communicate concerns to Case Managers and leadership promptly.
• Complete comprehensive shift reports before shift conclusion.
• Document incidents, safety concerns, inspections, and resident interactions.
• Ensure continuity of care through detailed cross-shift communication.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation at all times.
