Job summary

Seven Hills Foundation in Rhode Island is seeking an Assistant Residence Director to support daily operations of residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role blends direct care, staff leadership, and program coordination to ensure a safe, person-centered living environment.

You will lead DSPs, help with scheduling and oversight, and collaborate with the Residential Director to uphold high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and meaningful community engagement

Qualifications

• Experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate activities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals, modeling best practices for staff.
• Promote independence, dignity, and respect in daily living.
• Assist individuals in developing life skills, social connections, and community involvement.
• Support ISPs, behavior plans, and health care plan implementations.
• Accompany individuals to appointments and assist with medication administration as required.
