Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Resident Project Representative to support our Water/Wastewater practice in the Northeast, primarily MA and RI. The role requires field presence, driving distance to projects, and coordination with subconsultants.

Ideal candidates have a civil engineering background, 3+ years of field observation, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Relocation to New England is encouraged for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of vertical construction/field observation experience.
• EIT/PE is a plus.
• Effective communication with engineers, PMs, owners, and superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports on construction of vertical municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Monitors contractor adherence to standards, specs, and permits.
• Reviews submittals, RFIs, and other project docs and records comments as needed.
