Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Water/Wastewater Associate Project Manager to join our Northeast Division. The role combines engineering design experience with growing project management responsibilities across civil and environmental projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, the ability to lead teams, and a desire to collaborate with clients and subconsultants. This hybrid position supports relocation to New England offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• PE license or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 5+ years' of water or wastewater design experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of projects.
• Monitor budgets and track performance weekly.
• Develop scopes, fees, and schedules with sub-consultants.
• Lead technical solutions and coordinate among design disciplines.
• Support construction administration tasks and progress meetings.
• Prepare proposals with schedules and fees; ensure design quality.
