Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Water/Wastewater Associate Project Manager for our Northeast Division. This hybrid role can be based in Quincy or Woburn, MA, or Providence, RI, with relocation assistance potentially available.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in water or wastewater engineering and the ambition to expand into project management, gaining broad exposure across projects, budgets, and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• PE license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
• 5+ years' of water or wastewater systems design experience in a professional services environment.
• Must have a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of projects.
• Develop and negotiate scopes, fees, and schedules with sub-consultants.
• Lead technical coordination among design disciplines and subcontractors.
• Manage project budgets and staffing under PM oversight.
• Provide daily guidance, train staff, and assist in proposals and reports.
