Commonwealth Senior Living at South Boston is seeking a Resident Programs Director to design and oversee engaging activity programs for the Sweet Memories and Assisted Living residents. You will supervise a team, coordinate seven‑day calendars, and partner with the Resident Care Director to support residents’ physical and emotional well‑being.

Qualifications

• Two years’ college in health care field or recognized activities accreditation.
• 1–2 years’ full‑time experience in activities program in adult care or memory care.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• UAIs and ISPs certificates or willingness to obtain.
• Thorough knowledge of social and psychological needs of residents.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow Instructions.
• Willingness to perform non‑professional duties.
• Ability to use technology and SMILE calendar platform.
• Valid driver’s license to be insured.

Responsibilities

• Designs a creative activity program based on company standards to meet residents' needs and interests; plans seven‑day calendars including one‑to‑one programming.
• Work daily with the Resident Care Director to better serve residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Monitor day‑to‑day operation of the Sweet Memories Neighborhood (ADLs, meals, cleanliness, activities, charting).
• Follow state regulations for Assisted Living Facilities.
• Deliver CSL Signature Service Programs to Sweet Memories and Assisted Living residents.
• Assist in updating UAIs and ISPs for Sweet Memories program.
• Participate in Care Plan and family meetings; communicate resident involvement to families.
• Train staff on the activity programs; provide guidance and resources to staff.
