Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Resident Programs Director to plan, supervise, and monitor the Sweet Memories and Assisted Living Activity programs, ensuring residents stay engaged and healthy. You will assist the Resident Care Director in maintaining residents' physical and emotional well-being within memory care and assisted living areas.

The role requires coordinating activities, supervising staff, managing volunteers, and ensuring regulatory compliance while promoting quality of life

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Thorough knowledge of social and psychological needs of residents.
• Ability to work without close supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Designs a creative activity program based on company standards for residents.
• Plans seven-day activity calendars with one-to-one programming when needed.
• Monitors day-to-day operation of the Sweet Memories Neighborhood and Assisted Living activities.
• Participates in Care Plan meetings and family meetings.
• Manages volunteers and transportation for outings.
• Be able to perform non-professional duties as assigned.
• Directly supervises Program/Activity staff and coordinates scheduling.
