Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long‑term care facility. You will follow menus, ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards, and maintain food safety.

This on‑site role in Petersburg, VA includes hands‑on training, career development, and benefits. Pay starts at 16.00 USD per hour, with compensation based on qualifications and facility needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required by state/county law.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep the kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
