Job summary
Cogir Senior Living in Scottsdale, AZ, is hiring a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in creating and coordinating daily enrichment activities for our active residents. You will lead group and individual programs, coordinate events, assist with the monthly newsletter, and help ensure resident safety and well-being.
The role requires 6–12 months of experience with seniors and strong communication.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6–12 months of experience working with seniors preferred.
- Experience leading life enrichment activities is a plus.
- Comfort with basic computer tasks and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Engage residents one-on-one and in groups.
- Lead social, religious, educational, indoor and outdoor activities, exercise, and outings.
- Facilitate games, conversations, art, music, trips, and events.
- Assist in coordinating the monthly newsletter.
- Encourage participation and document outcomes.
- Review goals and progress notes.
- Assist in decorating for events and seasons.
- Coordinate external trips including reservations and safety.
