Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Florida is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging resident activities. You will support daily life enrichment programs, coordinate with outside organizations, and help create a joyful community.

The role requires a valid driver's license, willingness to transport residents, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Full- and part-time schedules may apply, with performance-based opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires current, valid driver’s license.
• Requires age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, or demonstrated creative skills is preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, and coordinating with outside organizations.
• Set up and clean up activities and ensure they meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Provide oversight of a life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., Memory Care, specific activity).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to/offsite events, driving company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff while adhering to company policies and safety guidelines.
