Legend Senior Living in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and run engaging activities for residents, coordinating the calendar, budgeting, and transportation as needed.

You will support memory care components, collaborate with staff to tailor programs to resident preferences, and uphold safety guidelines. Requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to transport residents, and a friendly, creative approach. This is a full-time role with benefits.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license required.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Prefer: experience working with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, and coordinating with outside organizations; setup and cleanup.
• Help ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g., Memory Care) as assigned.
• Coordinate transportation of residents to/from outside events and drive company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
