Job summary

The Community Life Services Coordinator at The Community Builders, Inc. is based at Lyman Terrace in Holyoke, MA, and works on-site five days a week.

The role focuses on developing support services for residents, coordinating with local partners, and helping residents achieve personal goals. You will build relationships with residents, coordinate with property management, and use data tools to document outcomes and improve programs, with a strong emphasis on housing stability and community

Qualifications

• Experience building partnerships with social service providers.
• Ability to motivate and energize site staff and partners.
• Experience using data and evaluations to inform programs.
• Experience engaging residents from diverse backgrounds, including housing stabilization.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong initiative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field; 5+ years experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish speaker required.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with residents and connect them to local resources.
• Develop strategic partnerships with local service providers; bring programs to the property.
• Collaborate with property management to develop annual workplans and activities.
• Conduct the Community Life Questionnaire.
• Develop an annual Community Success Plan with strategies and partners.
• Conduct new resident welcome orientations.
• Create monthly outreach and communication with residents (newsletters, flyers, calls).
• Use CL Connect and Power BI to document services and outcomes.
• Support housing stabilization efforts (late rent, housekeeping, lease issues).
• Participate in ongoing professional development (min 12 hours/year).
• Recruit and lead volunteers and interns.
• Attend supervision and site team meetings.
• Other duties and responsibilities as requested.
