Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Community Life Service Coordinator to develop and coordinate on-site resident services at PA properties.

You will work with the Community Life HUB team and Property Management to promote housing stability and connect residents to local programs. Ideal candidates bring a background in social services, housing or community development, and experience with partnerships, data tracking, and grant management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with focus in social work, human services, public health, or community development.
• 2+ years of professional experience working with families in housing or human services.
• Experience overseeing and managing grants.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of HUD regulations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic partnerships with local service providers for on-site programs and referrals.
• Support lease violations with housing stability plans and coaching.
• Participate in unit inspections as requested by Property Management.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to sustain partnerships and resources.
• Monitor housing stability and mediate between residents and Property Management.
• Provide case management and supportive services to ensure lease compliance and housing stability.
• Conduct home visits on a weekly or as-needed basis.
• Coordinate with agencies for rent and utility assistance.
• Address barriers to on-time rent payments and implement action plans.
• Maintain accurate records in Efforts to Outcomes (ETO).
• Attend trainings and weekly meetings with the Community Life HUB team.
