Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. seeks a Community Life Service Coordinator to develop and coordinate on-site resident services at mixed-income properties.

You will collaborate with property management and local partners to support housing stability and connect residents with education, workforce development, and health resources. You will create housing stability plans, track outcomes, administer surveys, and help grow the Community Life HUB’s partnerships to improve resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, public health, or community development.
• 2+ years of professional experience working with families in housing or human services.
• Experience overseeing and managing grants.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and other computer programs.
• Knowledge of HUD regulation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic partnerships with local service providers to bring on-site programs or provide referrals to off-site programs and services in workforce development, financial, and housing stability.
• Develop and implement a plan to support individuals/families with lease violations including housekeeping violations.
• Monitor residents' housing stability on an ongoing basis and provide mediation services between residents and Property Management should issues arise.
• Provide case management and supportive services to residents to ensure lease requirements are met and to avoid infractions.
• Coordinate with other agencies/partners to deliver rent and utility assistance as needed.
• Document and maintain records in Efforts to Outcome (ETO) and participate in weekly meetings with the Community Manager and site team.
