Job summary

Westerville Post Acute in Ohio is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, determine therapy needs, and develop individualized treatment plans. You will supervise CFY Speech Clinical Fellows and students, train facility staff, and communicate progress to families and physicians.

Accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory standards are required. You'll collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the rehab team to maximize residents' swallowing and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Master’s/Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed Speech Therapist in Ohio; continuing education required.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Strong communication with families and medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and goals.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing.
• Supervise CFY Speech Clinical Fellows and students; provide in-services.
• Document services accurately in medical records; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and rehab teams; participate in care conferences.
