Job summary

Homestead Post Acute is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, design and carry out treatment plans, and educate families and staff. You will supervise CFY and students, and coordinate with physicians and the care team while ensuring compliant documentation and infection control practices.

Experience in a facility setting is preferred. The role requires licensure and ongoing CEU compliance; CPR certification may be required by licensure.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state.
• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Master/Doctorate preferred.
• CPR certification, and continuing education as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehab potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY and students; provide in-service training for staff.
• Maintain timely documentation per facility, state, and payer rules.
