Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Masters/ Doctorate preferred.
• Experience with Net Health and Point Click Care software.
• Licensed Speech Therapist; CE requirements and license upkeep; CPR if required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs per physician orders.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY and students.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, residents and families.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with policies.
• Educate residents and families on goals and home programs.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and Rehabilitation meetings.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
