Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist in Las Vegas to evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with physicians and families. The role includes supervising CFY fellows and students, and ensuring compliant documentation.

Licensed SLP in the state with CPR if required will be needed. You will collaborate with the rehabilitation team and contribute to quality care initiatives at the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state; CPR certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs per physician orders.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve communication and function.
• Supervise CFY Speech Clinical Fellows and students.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families.
• Complete timely documentation per facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and participate in rehabilitation meetings.
