Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician to support our Dallas, TX apartment communities.

You will handle service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare vacant units for move-in while delivering friendly, resident-focused service. Responsibilities include coordinating with the maintenance supervisor, performing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical tasks, maintaining community appearance, and documenting work in Onesite.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience in apartment industry or similar.
• High School Diploma; trade school certification preferred.
• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other systems at the community.
• Must have dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license for on-site communities.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays; rotating on-call.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests promptly.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety issues or hazardous conditions and report or fix them.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and complete repairs as needed.
• Ensure upkeep of community appearance and perform repairs.
• Record service requests and maintenance in Onesite.
• Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and notices.
