Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee operations at an assigned apartment community. The role blends hands-on repair work with supervising the maintenance team and outside contractors to keep the property well maintained and compliant.

You will lead service-request prioritization, inspect grounds daily, manage safety programs, inventory, and vendor coordination, and support the Property Manager to deliver outstanding resident service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience required; experience in the multifamily industry highly preferred.
• EPA certification Type II Required; CPO preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required.
• Other licenses and certifications as required by local, state or federal law.
• Basic hand tools (not provided by community).
• Ability to diagnose problems with and repair major appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team and supervise associates and outside contractors.
• Manage service requests and preventative maintenance program.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily for curb appeal and safety.
• Maintain energy-saving practices and budget compliance.
• Prepare units for marketing and coordinate turn events.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
• Assist residents with move-in/move-out and maintenance issues.
• Maintain inventory and organize maintenance shop.
• Coordinate capital improvements and vendor bids with leadership.
• Work with Property Manager to maximize property performance within budget.
