Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site maintenance team at a Madison, WI community. You will balance hands-on repairs (60–70%) with supervising associates and coordinating with contractors to maintain property standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing service requests, ensuring safety and code compliance, managing the preventative maintenance program, and promoting energy efficiency while keeping within budget guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience required; experience in multifamily highly preferred.
• EPA certification Type II required; CPO preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team and supervise associates and external contractors.
• Assist Property Manager in delivering Peak Simply Service Standards.
• Prioritize, assign and monitor service requests; follow up on outstanding items.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and features to maintain curb appeal and minimize liabilities.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend asset life.
• Identify energy-saving measures to promote conservation.
• Manage maintenance inventory within budget.
• Schedule and direct work for turns and maintenance repairs.
• Prepare vacant units for marketing through cleaning and restoration.
• Coordinate with National Facilities Director for bids on capital improvements.
