Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations of our residential communities in New York. The role includes rent processing, leasing support, reporting, marketing, and supervision in the Community Manager's absence.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in property management, knowledge of LIHTC/tax credit programs, strong customer service, and solid bookkeeping abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Community Manager is required.
• LIHTC/Tax Credit Program knowledge required.
• Excellent communication and dedication to customer service.
• Strong bookkeeping and rent collection experience.
• Understanding of landlord/tenant law.
• Fair Housing Laws knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Windows, Word, Excel, Internet and e-mail.
• Familiarity with Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary resident relations and customer service.
• Manage and promote resident satisfaction and retention with timely responses.
• Serve as resource for residents on community-life issues and rent payments.
• Assist leasing tasks, including tours for prospective residents.
