Job summary

Avanath is seeking a dedicated Community/Property Manager to lead a residential community in San Rafael. The role focuses on delivering exceptional resident experiences while driving financial performance and operational excellence.

You will supervise site operations, manage budgets and leases, and mentor on-site teams. Build strong partnerships with residents, staff, and external partners to sustain a high-quality living environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in the property management industry.
• 2+ years of experience as a community/property manager.
• Proven ability to diffuse and respond to resident concerns without escalation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with LIHTC and Tax Credit qualifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email.

Responsibilities

• Oversee community operations to ensure satisfaction for residents and staff.
• Manage budgets, rent rolls, projections, and occupancy goals.
• Develop resident events and retention programs.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Collaborate with regional leadership and vendor partners.
