Job summary

Greystar is seeking a seasoned Community/Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of assigned properties, lead teams, and align operations with financial and regulatory goals. You will manage budgets, revenue targets, vendor relations, and lease enforcement while ensuring compliance with housing laws and university partnerships.

Qualifications

• M.Ed or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Knowledge of equity and inclusion issues and laws affecting higher education and community living.
• Ability to implement problem solving strategies for residential challenges.

Responsibilities

• Input into development of property budgets by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Meet revenue targets by setting rents and ensuring timely collection.
• Approve invoices and manage relationships with vendors and contractors.
• Control expenditures within budget and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, inspections, notices, evictions, and late fees.
• Build relationships with housing officials and university partners; stay informed on policies.
• Analyze market trends and implement short- and long-range marketing and leasing strategies.
• Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests promptly.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety and appearance.
