Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the apartment community, ensuring a well-managed, well-maintained property and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets, marketing, leasing, and vendor relationships while delivering exceptional resident service and maintaining occupancy. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to the Valiant Spirit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing certification before interaction with prospects or residents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel using company directives.
• Support staff to encourage teamwork and lead as an example in a harmonious environment.
• Determine transitions and promotions for on-site personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of community transactions and submit rent rolls and reports on time.
• Prepare annual budgets and ensure rents and late fees are collected and posted.
• Review, code, and approve invoices for payments; make daily bank deposits.
• Ensure the property is rented to its fullest capacity and oversee leasing staff.
• Oversee compliance with leasing laws and ensure proper verification of income and rental history.
• Develop and enforce community policies and rules.
