Job summary

FirstService Residential in Florida seeks a Director of Operations to supervise Receiving, Pool, and Security, and to drive world-class resident service. The role ensures all areas are well maintained and that the HOA residents feel valued, with constant feedback loops.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, superb communication, and problem-solving skills, works diplomatically in a fast-paced environment, and can cover day-to-day management when leaders are off duty.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive operations management experience.
• Community Association license preferred.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Receiving, Pool, and Security operations and daily activities.
• Ensure exceptional Resident experience and high service standards.
• Manage on-site staff, vendors, and programs while controlling labor and expenses.
• Lead daily operations, training, and onboarding of new team members.
• Participate in board meetings and enforce company policies.
