Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a full-time front desk/operations support role in Florida. The candidate will supervise, assist with coverage, and ensure impeccable service for residents and guests across properties.

The position requires strong leadership, communication, and time management, with a focus on safety, emergency procedures, and adherence to policy. Travel may be occasional, and schedule varies. Driving is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Multilingual abilities are desirable.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coverage for vacations, sick time, leaves of absence, and last-minute shifts.
• Adhere to company policy across properties.
• Maintain reliable transportation and communication.
• Wear approved attire/uniform and display badges.
• Keep work areas neat and safe; report safety issues to the Property Manager.
• Check fire alarm panels and report any troubles in writing.
• Work per schedule from the Director of Operations/Front Desk Coordinator with supervision.
• Respond to emergencies within two hours of notification.
• Report all complaints/issues to the Director of Operations/Front Desk Coordinator.
• On-call 24/7 for emergencies and call-outs as assigned.
• May be assigned other duties as required.
