Job summary

Camden Property Trust is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance service requests across a residential community. You will be a customer-focused team player contributing to make-readies, groundskeeping, pool maintenance and preventative tasks with safety in mind.

Responsibilities include prioritizing tasks with the team, documenting work in Onesite, and assisting with electrical, plumbing and general repairs as needed. Excellent resident interaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience preferred in apartment industry.
• High School Diploma preferred; trade school certification desired.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests promptly.
• Coordinate with supervisor to prioritize tasks daily.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and repairs as needed.
• Complete records in Onesite for service requests and make-readies.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, and inspections as required.
• Work on electrical, plumbing issues as needed.
