Job summary

Camden Property Trust is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Morrisville, NC. You will guide tours, close leases, prepare documents, and ensure a smooth move-in experience for residents.

You will showcase community features, support renewals, and contribute to occupancy goals through creative marketing while maintaining excellent customer service and strong communication with residents and teammates.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in sales, hospitality and/or customer service.
• Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leasing and/or property management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OneSite and Yield Star preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the leasing process from tour to move-in, including closing the sale and inspecting units.
• Showcase community features to meet customer needs.
• Maintain a customer-focused attitude to ensure smooth renewals.
• Execute creative marketing and social media strategies to increase traffic.
• Support occupancy and retention goals through follow-up with residents.
• Handle situations using problem-solving and good judgment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the property and competitors to inform decisions.
• Promote positive resident relations with timely responses.
• Prepare lease documents, resident files, and related bookkeeping tasks.
• Collaborate with team to plan resident events.
• Assist in other projects as needed.
