Job summary

Sterling Group in Madison, AL is seeking a Leasing Consultant to build relationships with prospective and current residents, conduct tours, and guide applicants through the rental process. You will maintain CRM entries, explain terms, and help secure approved leases.

The role supports marketing efforts, manages unit availability, and tracks occupancy and leasing KPIs while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced community setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year experience in property management, retail service or sales.
• Proficient reading, writing and grammar skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
• Yardi knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current residents.
• Greet and tour prospective residents, highlight features and benefits.
• Process applications and enter inquiries into CRM per policy.
• Assist in leasing process by preparing lease agreements and documenting requirements.
• Manage leads and traffic daily in Yardi CRM to convert prospects to residents.
• Provide move-in instructions and assist residents during move-in.
