Job summary

Madison Apartment Group is seeking a Leasing Consultant to be the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, coordinating apartment rentals, move-ins, and resident relations. You will also help plan resident events to foster a welcoming community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of sales/leasing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM/Yardi preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and welcome residents and guests.
• Lead property tours, show vacant units, and market amenities to close leases.
• Handle all leasing activities, qualify prospects, and prepare lease documents.
• Plan and participate in resident events and community functions.
• Maintain market knowledge and generate prospects through advertising and follow-up.
• Manage service requests with maintenance to ensure timely resolutions.
• Inspect models, vacancies, and grounds; report defects.
• Maintain resident records and assist with social media updates.
• Complete and verify lease applications; inform prospects of decisions.
• Organize and file leases and paperwork.
