Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Birmingham, AL to respond to inquiries, identify potential renters, and drive leasing activity. You will market properties, conduct tours, and process applications while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to Fair Housing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum customer-facing experience in sales or leasing.
• Strong sales and closing skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Willingness to obtain required state leasing license when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries/leads from prospective clients to identify potential renters.
• Market, lease, and renew apartment leases per company standards and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Assist with showing units, tours, and move-in coordination.
• Process lease applications and prepare new lease contracts for approval.
• Post notices and handle daily leasing operations and communications.
