Job summary

West Shore is seeking a Resident Services Manager to run day-to-day operations at the Knoxville apartment community. You will balance resident relations, rent collection, leasing support, and office administration to keep occupancy high and residents satisfied.

You will work with the Property Manager and on-site team to create a welcoming community, responding promptly to residents, prospects, and vendors while ensuring accurate ledgers and smooth leasing processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in residential property management or related customer service role.
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations.
• Experience handling rent collection, accounts receivable, or basic bookkeeping.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Collect rent and other payments; post receipts and deposit.
• Manage delinquency: late notices, payment plans, evictions per policy and law.
• Process move-in/out charges and security deposits; adjust ledgers.
• Prepare monthly reports: rent rolls, delinquency, occupancy.
• Code and process invoices; track operating budget spending.
• Greet residents and prospects; tour and lease to leads; respond promptly to inquiries.
• Process rental applications; screening, background checks, approvals.
• Prepare lease documents and ensure signatures.
• Learn the community to effectively market it; manage social media and reviews.
• Oversee resident events and distribute monthly newsletters.
