Job summary

West Shore is seeking a Resident Services Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at our apartment community in Waxhaw, NC. You will report to the Property Manager, lead resident relations, leasing support, rent collection, and office administration to keep occupancy high and residents happy.

In this role you will partner with the on-site team to create a welcoming community, handle inquiries, coordinate leases and renewals, and ensure smooth financial processes while upholding Fair Housing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in residential property management, leasing, or a related customer service role.
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations.
• Experience handling rent collection, accounts receivable, or basic bookkeeping.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Collect rent and other payments; post receipts accurately and make bank deposits.
• Handle delinquency: send late notices and set up payment plans.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs; adjust resident ledgers and deposits.
• Prepare monthly reports on occupancy, rent rolls, and delinquency.
• Support leasing and marketing tasks, including applications and renewals.
