Job summary

RPM Living is hiring an Assistant Community Manager for an on-site role. You will greet prospects, process applications, manage leases and renewals, handle rent collections and evictions, and promote resident satisfaction and property visibility through effective communication and social media.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and about a year of customer service or leasing experience, with accounting background a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing; accounting background preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in our Lead Management Software.
• Process applications, credit checks, and move them through the approval workflow.
• Show apartments, close sales, and prepare units for move-in with proper paperwork.
• Manage lease renewals, notices, and move-outs; update property management software.
• Handle rental collections and enforce lease terms to support revenue goals.
• Address resident questions and complaints promptly to sustain satisfaction.
• Follow eviction procedures as needed and assist with legal processes.
• Conduct market research and update marketing tools to boost visibility.
• Maintain and grow a strong social media presence for the property.
