Job summary

RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to greet prospects, process applications, manage leases and renewals, and promote resident satisfaction at an on-site property in Kansas. You will handle rent collections, evictions, and lease paperwork while supporting community visibility through social media and effective communication.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in customer service or apartment leasing, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service or apartment leasing experience; accounting background helpful.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects; assist with applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing.
• Process applications (credit checks, rental history) and obtain Community Manager approval.
• Show apartments, close sales, and prepare move-ins with signatures and orientation.
• Manage lease renewals, notices, and move-outs; update management software.
• Oversee rental collections, enforce lease terms, and pursue evictions as needed.
• Respond promptly to resident questions and resolve service issues.
• Follow eviction procedures and help with court proceedings as needed.
• Conduct market research and update Radix as needed.
• Maintain active social media presence to boost visibility and engagement; complete leasing paperwork promptly.
