Job summary

RPM Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to greet prospects, process applications, manage leases, and promote resident satisfaction at an apartment community. You will handle rent collections, renewals, and evictions as needed while coordinating with the Community Manager.

Responsibilities include showing apartments, processing move-ins, and maintaining up-to-date records in the property management system; a background in sales and customer service is valued for successful leasing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing; accounting background with customer service is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, assist with applications and deposits, and ensure Fair Housing compliance.
• Maintain availability reports and process applications with credit checks and rental history.
• Show apartments, close sales, and prepare move-ins with signatures and orientation.
• Manage renewals, move-outs, fees, and update property management software.
• Handle rental collections and enforce lease terms; process evictions when needed.
• Respond to resident questions promptly to boost satisfaction and retention.
• Follow eviction procedures and assist court proceedings as required.
• Conduct market research and outreach marketing; update Radix as needed.
• Maintain active social media presence and complete lease-related paperwork.
