RPM Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to greet prospects, process applications, manage leases, and promote resident satisfaction on-site in Texas. The role includes handling rent collections, evictions, renewals, and reporting through property software while coordinating with the Community Manager.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer service or leasing, strong communication, and basic accounting knowledge; proficiency with MS Office is desired and a flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing; accounting background helpful.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects using guest cards in Lead Management Software and assist with applications and deposits.
• Process applications including credit checks and rental history verification and seek Community Manager approval.
• Show apartments, close sales, prepare for move-ins and obtain signatures on leases.
• Manage lease renewals, notices, and move-outs; update property management software accordingly.
• Oversee rental collections, enforce lease terms, and handle evictions when needed.
• Respond promptly to resident questions and complaints to boost satisfaction and retention.
• Follow eviction procedures and facilitate court proceedings as needed.
• Conduct market research and update Radix or equivalent for marketing outreach.
• Maintain active social media presence to boost visibility and engagement; complete lease/move paperwork on time.
