Job summary

River Run Apartments in Brewton, AL is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support leasing, marketing, budgeting, and resident relations under the Community Manager. You will help attract residents, manage rent collections, and coordinate services, while using maintenance software to track requests and ensure vendor compliance.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and computer skills, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year property management experience preferred.
• Experience in affordable housing, Tax Credit, HUD and/or Rural Development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager in leasing, screening, and selecting residents.
• Develop and execute marketing and advertising campaigns for apartment leasing.
• Maintain rent collections and follow up with delinquent accounts.
• Use maintenance software to enter and track service requests.
• Ensure contractor/vendor compliance prior to performing any work on the property.
• Assist in budget development and monitoring with the Community Manager.
