Job summary

Royal American Management is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager with leasing, marketing, and resident relations at our property in Brewton, Alabama.

The role requires strong customer service, excellent communication, and proficiency with property management software. You will assist with rent collection, budgeting, vendor compliance, and coordinating maintenance services on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year property management experience preferred.
• Experience in affordable housing, Tax Credit, HUD and/or Rural Development preferred.
• Must have a government issued state ID or valid driver’s license as required by location.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient computer literacy and ability to use maintenance software.
• Ability to travel for property business.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager in leasing, marketing and resident relations for the community.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions affecting leasing and operations.
• Assist with development and execution of marketing campaigns for apartment leasing.
• Oversee rent collection procedures and deposit administration.
• Prepare annual operating budgets with the Community Manager.
• Monitor landlord-tenant relations and mediate disputes.
• Utilize maintenance software to track service requests and review reports.
• Ensure vendor compliance and monitor contractor activities.
