Job summary

Legend Management Group is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support operations at our Laurel, MD apartment community. You will handle administrative tasks, communicate with residents, collect rents, and coordinate with service teams under the Property Manager.

You will drive leasing, organize tours, manage leads, and post engaging content while assisting with budgeting to maximize revenue. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and multi-family experience is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Customer service or sales/marketing experience with supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of multi-family property management.
• Knowledge of applicable laws.
• Proficiency in RealPage, OneSite, YieldStar (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and provide personalized follow-ups to enhance the customer experience.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Oversee and develop team members.
• Collect rents, handle late payments, and monitor delinquency.
• Assist with financial performance to maximize revenues and reduce expenses.
• Manage leasing from first contact to move-in and coordinate tours.
• Attract residents through advertising, tours, referrals and social media content.
• Lead lead management and follow up using Legend’s practices.
• Prepare sales reports and monitor service requests with the team.
• Coordinate resident retention events and corporate outreach.
