Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support leasing, resident relations, and financial tasks across our communities. You will work closely with the Community Manager, handle tours, respond to leads, manage applications and renewals, and help maintain a welcoming, well-run property.

You will also oversee rent collection and delinquencies, assist with financial reporting, and support a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Two years of property management experience preferred.
• Six months previous assistant community manager experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CALP accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist leasing efforts by conducting tours and guiding prospects.
• Manage rent collection, renewals, and related documentation.
• Support the Community Manager and lead the team in their absence.
• Respond to resident concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Create content for social media to highlight events and engagement.
• Ensure office and common areas are welcoming and well-maintained.
