Job summary

Distinctive Living seeks a Part Time Resident Experience Assistant for Mira Vie at Clifton in Clifton, NJ. The role covers coordinating resident activities, creating a monthly calendar, and arranging entertainment to enrich resident life.

The position operates on weekends, 9am–5pm, every other weekend, and involves working with the management team to meet resident needs and promote engagement within budget constraints.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred in Social Service, Business, or related field.
• Proven management experience.
• Minimum of three years' experience in assisted living preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident interest and activity needs at move-in and within 7 days to tailor participation.
• Coordinate daily activities within budget and develop monthly event calendar.
• Arrange in-building entertainment and promote resident participation.
• Plan quarterly events with marketing involvement; coordinate setup and cleanup.
• Provide transportation for activities and medical trips; schedule outings.
• Ensure safety and proper reporting; follow Safety Committee standards.
