Job summary

Hines Living in Chicago is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to deliver a 5-star resident experience on-site. You will respond to inquiries, greet guests, and coordinate events while collaborating with the Community Manager and leasing team.

Responsibilities include handling complaints, processing applications, and supporting maintenance coordination. A real estate leasing license for Illinois is required within 120 days, with strong communication and organization skills essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution required.
• Some college credits desired.
• Must currently hold or obtain a real estate leasing agent license for the state of Illinois within 120 days.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Must have knowledge of operations software used at the property level; Outlook, Internet software, Office 365, including Excel and Word.
• This position is fully on-site and requires working from the assigned property five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Handle and resolve customer complaints; liaise with Management to resolve inquiries/complaints.
• Respond within 24 hours to residents’ requests via telephone, email, or postal mail.
• Follow up with residents within 24 hours to ensure issues are resolved.
• Prepare weekly summary reports detailing resident contacts and plans to increase satisfaction.
• Greet prospects, guests, and visitors; provide a personalized experience.
• Plan, promote and deliver resident events and activities.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve resident experience and service.
• Assist leasing team with application approvals and documentation.
• Coordinate with maintenance for schedules and notifications.
• Supervise contract obligations like janitorial, window washing, elevator maintenance, security, valet.
• Support culture and drive top prospect survey results and social reviews.
