Job summary

AMH is seeking a dedicated Resident Coordinator in Phoenix to support Resident Managers in daily market operations and deliver an exceptional resident experience while ensuring compliance with licensing restrictions.

The role emphasizes handling communications, lease paperwork, renewals, verifications, and coordination of rent-related tasks, with a focus on retention and accuracy in tenant financial processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 3+ years of high-volume customer service; Real estate or property management preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, time management, and conflict resolution.
• Strong relationship management, organizing, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with property management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional resident experience across the lifecycle, within state licensing restrictions.
• Assist with administrative tasks: resident communications, mail scanning, lease renewal paperwork, verifications, insurance documents.
• Enhance tenant retention through proactive outreach and portal support.
• Collaborate with Resident Managers, Senior Resident Managers, and Admin Assistants to ensure accurate handling of tenant financial transactions.
• Maintain deposit records in compliance with policies.
• Communicate deposit inquiries clearly to tenants.
