Job summary

Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a warm, compassionate Concierge to enhance resident experiences and support smooth admissions and discharges. You will be a key point of contact for residents and families, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment.

This full-time role in Boynton Beach, FL covers the 11am–7:30pm shift. You will collaborate with Admissions and Nursing, greet residents, escort them, and provide follow-up reports to

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong decision-making and communication skills.
• Comfortable with computers, office equipment, and learning new systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Admissions Department and Nursing Team to prepare for new resident admissions.
• Check and ready rooms, including confirming all equipment is available and operational.
• Ensure rooms are clean, lights and call bells work, TVs are functioning, and remotes are present.
• Assemble welcome baskets with essentials.
• Personally greet and escort new residents to their rooms.
• Offer emotional support to residents and family members as needed.
• Answer call bells and follow up to ensure resident needs are met.
• Receive and report resident complaints/concerns through the grievance process.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Attend in-service trainings, supervisory meetings, and all Resident Council meetings.
• Provide tours during off-hours in the absence of admissions staff.
• Assist with room changes when residents transition from short-term rehab to long-term care.
• Complete Concierge follow-up forms within 48 business hours of admission and before planned discharge.
• Email daily progress reports to administration to track any concerns or trends.
• Coordinate with laundry for residents returning from hospital stays.
• Distribute discharge gift bags and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Monitor scheduled smoking sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
