Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, employees, families and visitors in English.
• Ability to respond to questions from staff, residents and the public.
• General computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office to set up and update forms.
• Appreciation for seniors and understanding of aging and its challenges.
• Professional appearance and friendly interaction with others.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls.
• Greet visitors as they enter the community.
• Assist in maintaining files.
• Schedule car and bus for resident use.
• Schedule salon appointments.
• Prepare maintenance work orders and ensure prompt delivery.
• Answer residents' requests for sundry items and track purchases.
• Maintain supply of greeting cards and stamps and ensure accurate accounting of items purchased.
• Locate staff to perform valet service for residents as needed.
• Monitor security cameras as first-responder to the Emergency Response System.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
