Job summary

Thrive Communities in Washington, DC, is seeking a full-time Community/Property Manager to ensure outstanding resident service and financial operations. The role requires close coordination with on-site teams to maintain records, collect income, and manage leases.

You will oversee marketing, resident relations, and administrative duties, while supporting a thriving, people-focused community. Excellent organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in property management or equivalent experience, including leasing, sales/closing, and customer service.
• Experience with Yardi/CRM and On-Site
• Accounts Payable experience or prior experience reviewing and paying/entering invoices.

Responsibilities

• Income Collection & Accounts Payable: maintain resident records, issue notices, deposits, oversee payments, reconcile credit card use, assist with month-end procedures.
• Resident Relations: foster community, maintain positive relations, inspect properties, report needs, ensure leasing knowledge.
• Marketing: manage ads, greet prospects, show the community, respond to inquiries, monitor market conditions.
• Administrative: update reports, file paperwork, proofread leases, process move-ins/outs, handle service requests.
• General: perform additional duties as assigned by Community/Regional Manager.
